How to upload a Submission Template

GSB v1

Submission Templates are not available for Green Star Buildings v1 projects.

GSBv1.1 & GSF

Ensure the Submission Template is attached to all the relevant credit criteria that are being targeted by the project. Only one Submission Template can be linked per criteria.

Note: The file type must be an xlsx and have a unique file name.

There are two ways to attach the Submission Template:

Attaching via the Submission Form

Attaching via the Document Manager

For a Round 2 submission, the Round 2 Submission Template only needs to be linked to the credit criteria being resubmitted. The link to the Round 1 Submission Template will be superseded.

Error Definition

While uploading the offline calculator, you may run into error messages. The below table will cover off the error messages and what to do next:

Error Message	Reason for error	Resolution
The incorrect template has been uploaded. Please check the resources portal for the latest version.	You may be using an old template or are attempting to upload another calculator template.	- Verify you’re uploading the most recent offline calculator template via the resources portal.

Make sure the offline calculator you’re uploading is the matching the selected upload. | | Check your internet connection | Upload did not occur | Perform a refresh or hard refresh of the page and try again. | | Upload failed: Excel Project Number differs from the project. Check the Excel and try again. | The project number within the excel calculator does not match the project number in the submission app. | Verify the spreadsheet project number matches the project number in the submission app. Update to the correct project number or upload the spreadsheet that is meant to be uploaded. |
